Summary:
Car Dealership Guy Media is seeking to hire an Automotive Reporter with a high sense of urgency and a desire to make an impact at the fastest growing media company in the Automotive Industry. As a vital member of the team, you will primarily be responsible for crafting words into the highest engaging sentences known to man. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: researching and writing posts for social media across CDG channels, contributing to our weekly newsletter. The ideal candidate is a results driven self-starter that thrives in high-growth environments and has a proven track record of hard hitting automotive journalism and high performing social media copy.

Responsibilities:
- Stay on top of all automotive trends pertaining to consumer and business interests within the industry.
- Leverage our data to extract the most timely and significant insights for the car dealership business.
- Produce short form and long form copy posts rooted in data for social media using the CDG brand tone and voice.
Qualifications:
- Strong experience as an automotive reporter with a strong portfolio.
- Strong problem solver with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to deliver on deadlines like your life depends on it.
- High attention to detail and spelling.
- Propensity to learn the CDG voice and replicate it like a machine on every copy touchpoint.
- A perennial student of the game who stays on top of social media best practices and format limitations.
- Ability to take direction and “kill your babies.” Ideas are cheap, execution is priceless.
